The Fundació TicSalut invites you to the presentation of the Map of Tendencies 2013 on 20 December

During this public event, the results of the ICT and Health Survey 2013 in the area of the health centres in Catalonia will be presented; this year the survey achieved a 100% reply rate, and the five main international tendencies with respect to the application of ICTs in health will be presented in a roundtable. Furthermore, the conclusions of the annual monographic, which this year focuses on unattended healthcare, will be given, and the involvement of ICTs in the different strategic lines of the Health-care plan of the government of Catalonia and the socioeconomic impact on mHealth will be presented. 

The event will be closed by Rt Hon Mr Boi Ruiz, the Minister for Health and the Mr Joan Mora, Mayor of Mataró.

Since 2007, on the commission of the Health Department, Fundació TicSalut each year carries out the ICT and Health Survey. The Survey has become a benchmark for the healthcare sector as it provides an objective view of the reality and evolution of ICTs in the network of Catalan public healthcare and social healthcare centres. What’s more, the Survey is complemented with a monographic study and an analysis and interpretation of the international tendencies which are changing the traditional healthcare models both from the technological point of view and from the perspective of organisational and individual changes.
