Subsidies to include the Catalan language in tech products

The Catalan Government Department of Culture has opened the period to submit applications for grants to include the Catalan language in tech products. The purpose of these grants is to promote the inclusion of Catalan in tech products to increase the offer in that language. The creation or translation of webpages, video games, video console interfaces and video game platforms are excluded.
The call is aimed at businesses, both natural and legal persons, based in a member state of the European Union or associated with the European Economic Area, which are approved to distribute and market the project in Catalonia.
The funded projects must be published by 30 June the year after the grant is awarded and the project’s expenses must arise during the year the grant is given.
Applications must be submitted between 16 May and 2pm on 1 June 2023.
