The Foundation holds the first dialogue on interoperability in health

The TIC Salut Social Foundation has held a participative conference on professional competencies in interoperability in the field of health. The aim was to design training that meets the needs of the Catalan health system. The conference was held at the foundation’s headquarters on 19 July. It was attended by a dozen experts from Catalan health centres, universities and companies in the sector.

The participants set out their needs, which include, on the one hand, greater integration and connection of health systems; and, on the other hand, finding new professional profiles that blend tech with healthcare. The session also made it possible to corroborate the importance of generating new content and training pathways that address the future challenges of interoperability in health.

The TIC Salut Social Foundation will draw up the conclusions report together with the conference participants and will begin the next steps to take the training proposal forward.

Diàlegs TICSS [TICSS Dialogues]

The interoperability conference is part of the new series of ‘TICSS Dialogues’ sessions promoted by the TIC Salut Social Foundation. The purpose of these conferences is to bring together experts from the ICT ecosystem to discuss and provide solutions to the system’s specific needs and projects. The next sessions will deal with issues related to areas such as Artificial Intelligence, mHealth, remote care, and public health integration, among others.
