The XIII RDI TIC Salut Social Conference will discuss social inclusion and artificial intelligence

Once again, the RDI TIC Salut Social Event is here. In their 13th edition, under the theme “Building Inclusion with AI in Social Services,” the discussion will focus on advancing towards a more inclusive society. A day with a technological perspective on the present and future of social services in Catalonia, addressing how to progress while keeping the real needs of the citizens in mind.

The event will take place on April 25th at the Paranimf of the Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya, from 9:00 to 17:00. It will feature the presence of representatives from social services, the academic world, and the industrial sector. The debate will present the current state of social needs and how they can be addressed using examples of projects applying artificial intelligence. The advancements of the Integrated Social and Health Care Agency will also be presented.

Program and registrations are open

The event is offered in a hybrid format, both in-person and online. The in-person attendance has a maximum capacity of 200 people. For this reason, it is highly recommended to register in advance through the event’s website by clicking on the following link. The streaming broadcast is unlimited but also requires prior registration through the same link. On the day of the event, the viewer will be available for remote connection from their website. 

Network Collaboration and showroom

The XIII RDI TIC Salut Social Event do not end here. During the breaks, which will take place in the cloister of the Casa de la Convalescència in Vic, adjacent to the Paranimf, attendees will have this space as a meeting point to generate synergies and identify new opportunities for collaborative work. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to learn about solutions applied to caregiving through stands located in this area.

The event will feature welcoming remarks from the departments of Social Rights and Health, the mayor of Vic, the rector of the Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya, and the director of the TIC Social Health Foundation.

Among the professionals participating in the event are representatives from the University of Barcelona, Pompeu Fabra University, and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. There will also be representatives from the Health Data Protection Office and the Social Third Sector Table of Catalonia.

This annual event is organized through network collaboration among entities in the central Catalonia region. It is promoted through the TIC Social Health Foundation and the TIC Social Health Chair of the Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya. It has the collaboration of the ICS – Territorial Management of Central Catalonia, the Hospital Consortium of Vic, the Santa Creu de Vic Hospital Foundation, Althaia, EAP Vic, Osonament, the Sant Tomàs Foundation, and Osona Social Action.

It also has the support of representatives from the industrial sector such as iN2, Doole Health, Evidenze, Chiesi, Seidor, and Minsait.
