01. Description

Multimodal AI-based toolbox and an interoperablehealth imaging repository for the empowerment of imaging analysis related to the diagnosis, prediction and follow-up of cancer (INCISIVE)

This project belongs to the Eurpoean Comission Horizon 2020 framework.

INCISIVE’s purpose is to improve cancer prediction and dyagnosis with Artificial Intelligence and Big Data focusing on five main pillars:

  • Analysis of AI challenges related to cancer imaging while striving to achieve a highly acceptable solution.
  • Incorporation of AI features enhancing cancer imaging and enabling effective decision making.
  • Implementation of an interoperable pan-European federated repository of health images, including secure data sharing mechanisms.
  • System validations, technology assessment and proof-of-concept demonstration.
  • Active engagement of stakeholders, improving user acceptance and resulting to measurable impacts.
