02. Description

The aim of this project is to analyze the degree of satisfaction of users of the Propeller Platform in Ellipta devices, patients with asthma and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and their reference professionals from various SAP Delta Primary Care Teams. de Llobregat of the Territorial Management Costa de Ponent.

The administration of inhalation drugs is the basis for the treatment of patients with COPD and asthma, and according to the literature it is estimated that 70-80% of patients do not use the inhaler correctly due to various factors such as underuse of the same, overuse or by incorrect inhalation technique. For these reasons, there is a great need to increase adherence to inhaled treatment, improve the technique of using inhalers, and develop techniques and methods for an objective assessment of adherence to inhaled treatment.

A total of 60 patients diagnosed with COPD and / or asthma with their reference professionals will be included in the project. Patients will use the Propeller platform for a period of 6 months.
