The RACSEL project (American eHealth Cooperation Network) is an initiative promoted by several regions in South America, the TIC Salut Social Foundation and IN2. It aims to define the legal framework, standards and reference architecture to implement the Electronic Clinical History (ECH), focusing on sharing information between the regions of Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Chile and Costa Rica.
The TIC Salut Social Foundation is participating in this definition by leading the components of the legal framework and technical and semantic standards (terminology), under the coordination of the company IN2. RACSEL is set up as a consulting project based on collaboration, dialogue and exchange of knowledge and experiences on interoperable Electronic Clinical History.
