01. Description

Multimodal AI-based toolbox and an interoperable health imaging repository for the empowerment of imaging analysis related to the diagnosis, prediction and follow-up of cancer (INCISIVE)

This European project is part of the European Commission’s HORIZON 2020 Framework Programme.

INCISIVE’s aim is to improve the diagnosis and prediction of cancer with AI and big data by implementing the work through 5 action areas:

  • Analysis of AI challenges in cancer-related medical imaging to achieve a highly-acceptable solution.
  • Incorporation of AI features that improve cancer imaging and allow effective decisions to be made.
  • Implementing a pan-European federated interoperable repository of health images, including security mechanisms for data sharing.
  • System validations, technology evaluation and proof of concept.
  • Active participation of interested parties, improving user acceptance and resulting in measurable impacts.
