AGORA VR

  • Framework: Catalan Public Administration
  • Funding: Self funded

01. Description

The objective of this project is to bring virtual reality treatment to healthcare environments to facilitate patient empowerment in managing their health thanks to technology.

Fear of open spaces, or agoraphobia, is a panic or anxiety disorder in which the affected person repeatedly suffers sudden attacks of anxiety in the absence of external stimuli that trigger them. Episodes of intense fear accompanied by a strong state of anxiety are called panic attacks, in some cases, anxiety attacks or anxiety crisis.

AGORA VR is a therapeutic treatment through exposure to phobia within a controlled, virtual environment.
