TIQUE, the European project for innovation will improve integrated care for patients with heart failure

The TIQUE project will focus on treatment approaches for patients with heart failure with chronic co-existing diseases, fragile or in danger of fragility, by driving a pre-commercial public purchasing process, in which research services for innovative solutions will be hired to meet the needs of patients from three very different European regions: Catalonia (Spain), Region Vasterbotten (Sweden), Avellino (Italy).

The Hospital de la Santa Cruz i Sant Pau is the promoter and coordinator of the TIQUE project, funded by the European Union and with a total budget of more than .6 million, involving eight partners from five countries, including the ICT Social Health Foundation, who aim to create and validate new integrated, comprehensive care solutions for people with advanced heart failure and complex care needs. Solutions must allow better targeted care services for these patients, through technology, to provide quick and customized responses through integrated care.
