TIC Salut Social Foundation and the University of Vic–Central University of Catalonia promote training in care and digital skills through the SISCU project

TIC Salut Social Foundation and the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) have signed a collaboration agreement to advance training activities linked to the Social Innovation Services for Care (SISCU) project. This initiative aims to strengthen the digital skills and professional training of those working in the fields of care, social services and person-centred care.

The agreement is part of one of the eight SISCU action lines, promoted by the Department of Social Rights and Inclusion of the Government of Catalonia within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), and funded by the European Next Generation EU funds.

SISCU training programmes are committed to developing specific educational programmes for professionals and caregivers, incorporating advanced content, simulation and digital tools.

Educational plan and training content

Planned actions include mapping the care training system in Catalonia, analysing the digital skills required in the sector and implementing a training programme with several pilot projects focused on innovation in care.

TIC Salut Social Foundation will support the definition of educational content related to digital transformation, innovation and technology applied to social and healthcare services. UVic-UCC will lead the academic and methodological design of the training activities, as well as the production of teaching materials.

The project will also incorporate innovative learning methodologies, including audiovisual production, practical case simulations and digital educational resources, thanks to the participation of several teaching, technical and audiovisual teams from the university.
