The mConnecta project was born to expand the current healthcare model by incorporating mobility solutions to improve the sustainability of the Catalan health system. It has been developed by the TIC Salut Social Foundation on behalf of the Catalan Health Service.

The scope of the project includes the launch of the Mobility Platform of the Catalan Public Health System, integrating APP’s, webapps, wearables and Medical Devices.

Data in real time

By defining the new healthcare models, we want to generate a catalog of mobility elements that the professional can prescribe to the citizen based on their pathologies. With this prescription, the citizen will be able to send data in real time to the mConnecta Platform and the professional will be able to consult them at any time.

This way we will be able to obtain more data with a wider monitoring, effectively and safely so that the professional can continuously monitor the pathology being treated. The citizen will also be able to consult the information through My Health (LMS).

Working sessions

The mConnecta platform has different viewers, one of which is the Professional Viewer. Agents from the fields of health and technology have made different proposals for its design during the working sessions.

In order to gather information to define the design of the Professional Platform Viewer, two working sessions (December 2019 and February 2020) were convened with thirty professionals present in total, grouped into 5 groups. Among other topics, the sessions served to discuss what content is needed, how they should be grouped, or what their distribution should be within the viewer.

In the attached document* on this page you will find all the details of the sessions, together with the methodology and proposals collected. At the end of the report are the conclusions divided by each solution (*only in Catalan).

We would like to thank all the professionals who collaborated.
