¿Do you have a startup? Apply now to join the Catalonia Health Innovation Pavilion at 4YFN 2025

4YFN 2025, a leading event for tech startups within the framework of MWC Barcelona, once again presents a great opportunity for health-related startups. From March 3 to 6, 2025, TIC Salut Social Foundation, Biocat and ACCIÓ, will coordinate, for the second consecutive year, the Catalonia Health Innovation Ecosystem Pavilion, a dedicated health space located in Hall 8.0, where companies from Catalonia’s BioRegion can showcase their solutions and engage in networking. This is a chance to connect with companies and secure high-impact collaborations in the sector.

What’s included in participation?

Selected startups will enjoy:

• An exhibition booth for 2 days (either March 3-4 or March 5-6, depending on a draw) within Hall 8.0, in the Catalonia Health Innovation Pavilion area.
• The booth will be equipped with a counter, stools, electrical outlets, Wi-Fi, and personalized graphics.
• Tickets to access 4YFN and MWC.
• Inclusion in virtual catalogs and on the 4YFN and MWC websites.

Requirements for startups

To qualify for a space, startups must meet the following requirements:

• Less than 10 years in operation.
• High technological or innovative component.
• Scalable business model with global growth potential.
• A minimum team of 3 full-time members dedicated to the project.
• Based in Catalonia.
• Startups developing therapeutic strategies in personalized medicine, solutions for predictive diagnostics, or technology for integrated social and healthcare will be prioritized.

How to participate?

Startups interested in securing a space within the Catalonia Health Innovation Ecosystem Pavilion can submit an application by filling out the form before October 14, 2024. The application must include a company presentation of up to 10 slides (in Catalan, Spanish, or English), describing the product or service, the business model, the funding plan, and the team.

Participation costs €231.4 + VAT, and the reservation must be formalized by December 15, 2024.

Selection and evaluation criteria

The 12 selected startups will be notified before November 30, 2024. The evaluation will be based on criteria such as the investment and funding plan (20%), the team (30%), technological innovation (25%), revenue and market reach (10%), and international scalability (15%).
