Work session to create the Observatory of Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Health in Catalonia

The TIC Salut Social Foundation held a day to gather needs and define the strategy of the Observatory of Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Health in Catalonia. The session was held on 22 June with the participation of representatives from the Information Systems Area; the Care Area, and the CatSalut Citizenship, Innovation and User Area; the Strategy and Quality Area of the ICS; the Artificial Intelligence Strategy for Catalonia Area; the Artificial Intelligence Area; and the Management of the ICT Social Health Foundation. In a second session, AQuAS also contributed its knowledge.

The initial proposal for the Observatory, developed by the Artificial Intelligence team at the TIC Salut Social Foundation, was presented at the conference, and its mission, scope, objectives and management model were validated. The foundation’s team is now collecting the participants’ needs and requests and the proposal will be ready in the coming weeks.
