During the first quarter of the year, the Office of the Healthcare DPO, together with UOC Corporate, have developed different multimedia materials for online training in data protection regulations. The aim is to promote and encourage professionals in the health sector to be up-to-date in their knowledge of the principles, rights and obligations set out in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The consultant and expert Carles San Jose i Amat, with extensive professional experience in the field of data protection and training in this subject has collaborated in the creation of these materials.
It should be noted that these materials have been developed following a rigorous and innovative production process, so as to transmit the knowledge in a clear, attractive and suitable manner. Following the methodology of the Open University of Catalonia, which is internationally renowned and has been recognised with awards on many occasions.
This training is aimed at professionals in the health sector who require this type of training at different levels. The plan in the coming months is to organize pilot groups who will receive this training which will be offered at health centres and/or institutions affiliated to the Health Data Protection Office.
