Abbott Lab's FreeStyle Librelink gets the TIC Salut Social's quality label for healthcare apps

On the 15th July, the ‘FreeStyle Librelink App’ for Diabetes monitoring overcame the certification process of the TIC Salut Social Foundation. This app got a certification as a healthcare product. It has been evaluated to be used with the glucose monitoring sensors in interstitial liquid and FreeStyle Libre 2.
It enables calculating the user’s levels of glucose with a sensor attached to his arm and passing his mobile phone above it. Alarms can be set up to notify a glucose decompensation and performs glucos monitoring over the desired period of days.
