The actions promoted by the Department of Social Rights with the Next Generation fund include the allocation of 13,300,000 euros for initiatives that use technology to provide solutions for people in situations of dependency or disability or facing social problems arising from mental illnesses.

These are projects that may have different goals, such as facilitating personal autonomy, care, maintenance of the person in the home environment and integrated social and health care, as well as the participation and involvement of the volunteer network.

During the evaluation process of this line, the Department relied on the expertise of the TIC Salut Social Foundation, which offered its advice and technical support for the technological evaluation of the projects.

  • More than 5.5 million euros will be allocated to it from the Next Generation fund over the coming two years.
