The Catalan Health and Social Care Consortium (CSC) has announced the call for the second innovation grants of the CSC Impulsa Awards, which seek to identify, recognise and promote the innovative projects of the health and social bodies that provide public services in Catalonia. Candidatures can be submitted until 31 Julyand the names of the winning entities will be announced on 28 November. This year, the innovation grants will receive the support of the TIC Salut Social Foundation with the cooperation of Bayer, among other entities.
The candidatures must fall into the following categories: Diseases of the retina, Cancer and urology, Lung cancer, Tackling obesity, Artificial intelligence in health and Artificial intelligence in the social sphere. A general category is also established for projects outlining innovative solutions and processes that are not applicable to the above-mentioned categories but also of interest in the health and social fields by responding to needs that are yet to be met.
In addition to the prizes totalling 20,000 euros for the winners of each category, the CSC Impulsa Awards will provide the winning entities with support from the Technical Project Innovation Office of the CSC, which will offer advice on the development of the projects and monitor them.
Organisations in the public health and social network of Catalonia will be able to submit their candidatures until 31 July via an online form available here. The bases of the call can be viewed here.
