Are you familiar with the areas and projects coordinated by the TIC Salut Social Foundation?

The TIC Salut Social Foundation has published its 2023 Annual Report. The document compiles the main activities and milestones achieved by the Foundation staff during the previous year and lists the projects they coordinate or those involving the Social Area, the sections dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, Digital Assets for Citizens, Personalized Digital Care and eHealth, the areas for Digital Skills, Medical Imaging and Interoperability and the Office of the Health Data Protection Delegate.

In total, the Foundation was involved in nearly 30 digital transformation projects, mainly in the field of health and social welfare in Catalonia, and in 10 pioneering and competitive European projects related to these areas.

Among the most outstanding milestones of 2023 highlighted in the Report are the incorporation of new members from the social sector to its Board of Trustees, the culmination of the creation of the Health/AI Programme for the promotion and development of artificial intelligence in the health system and the first working meeting of its Committee, the technical support of the Foundation in the technological evaluation of the projects in the call for grants from the Next Generationfund, the first transport of bio-samples by drone, the presentation of the Catalan model on digital skills for health professionals in Brussels, the new training sessions on impact assessment given by the Health Data Protection Delegate, or the celebration of 12th TIC Salut Social RDI Conferences on integrated social and health care, among others.

The document also includes a list of 59 national and international congresses, sessions or conferences which saw the participation of the Foundation’s staff, basic data from the Communications Department, such as its activity on social networks and the results obtained in the media, and the entity’s financial information, with revenues and expenses amounting to upwards of 3.4 million euros.
