Thanks to the agreement between the TIC Salut Social Foundation and La Salle-URL, we have a 50% scholarship for the face-to-face mode and a 50% scholarship for the online mode, offered by La Salle-URL. This master’s degree will enable students to:

  • Discover how the healthcare sector leverages emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, IoT, virtual reality and Big Data to improve healthcare management and quality of care.
  • Understanding the opportunities of digital transformation to create a positive impact on healthcare organisations and improve the patient experience.
  • Work on real projects, presenting a proposal for technological improvement for a company or creating your own health start-up.
  • Have a high-level teaching team. Coordinated by Toni Masi, director at the Blood and Tissue Bank, and Oriol Estrada, director of healthcare strategy and innovation at the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital.
  • Participation of an expert faculty of the main hospitals and companies in the sector: Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, Clínic Barcelona, the Catalan Health Service, Sanofi, Iomed, among others.
  • Access knowledge from a constantly updated programme with the latest trends in AI, virtual reality and Big Data applied to healthcare management.

Financial support and conditions

Candidates who meet the entry requirements and are accepted to the master’s degree and can demonstrate references in the sector and professional motivations linked to innovative systems in the field of digital health will be eligible for a scholarship worth 50% of the total cost. One scholarship is offered for the face-to-face mode and another for the online mode.

The requirements to apply for the scholarship are to be a resident of Catalonia, to have a professional career in which the applicant demonstrates that the subjects taught in the master’s degree have a direct relationship with their job and their professional career. This must be reflected in the Curriculum Vitae submitted.

They must also show interest in starting or deepening their knowledge of health technologies and healthcare management. And, if it has been less than three years since the completion of their university degree, and the applicant does not have sufficient professional experience, the final grade of their degree will be assessed. Finally, it is essential that the candidate admitted to the master’s degree has paid the place reservation fee.
