Are you going to the Mobile World Congress 2023?

For yet another year, the ICT Social Health Foundation will be at the Mobile World Congress, which will be held from 27 February to 2 March 2023 at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona.

At its stand in the Catalunya Pavilion, the foundation will provide general information about its work and the possibility of finding out about progress and projects in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, mHealth, Interoperability and Non-Face-to-Face Care from the people who work in the respective teams. Details of the topics or projects that each team will present are set out below, together with the time slots in which they will be at the stand.

Artificial Intelligence

Topics to be presented:

  • Towards the successful adoption of trustworthy Artificial Intelligence in the field of health.
  • Pan-European federated Artificial Intelligence platform for the training and inference of medical imaging algorithms to improve cancer diagnosis, prognosis and treatment. INCISIVE European project.
  • Health AI Observatory: identification and classification of algorithms.

Times that the Artificial Intelligence Team (Susanna Aussó/Didier Domínguez) will be at the stand:

  • 1/03 from 2pm to 7pm

mHealth

Topics to be presented:

  • How can I guarantee the quality and reliability of my health app? We will guide you to ensure the usability, interoperability and trustworthiness of your app. Come and learn about the Health ICT Social Mobile Applications Certification Service and give your solution a quality seal that sets it apart! The service is aimed at health professionals, developers, political representatives, researchers and the general public who have or are developing an app in the health sector.
  • European efforts to adopt a quality label for health and wellness apps. The Label2Enable European project promotes the use of the CEN-ISO/TS 82304-2 standard and its quality label. The goal is to achieve a single digital market in which quality health applications are used on a large scale in prevention, health care and self-care.

Interoperability

Topics to be presented:

  • Standards applied to health care (SNOMED CT, LOINC, HL7 FHIR, OPEN EHR, etc.).
  • Interoperability frameworks.
  • Implementation guidelines.

Times that the Interoperability Team (Fernando Leeson/Sara Martínez) will be at the stand:

  • 28/02 from 8.30am to 2.00pm
  • 2/03 from 2pm to 3pm

Non-face-to-face care

Topics to be presented:

  • Integrated solutions to adopt Non-Face-to-Face Care models:
    • New drone project in high-mountain areas.
    • Report on the state of non-face-to-face care in the Central Catalonia health region.
    • Progress of the INNOBICS-SAHS European project to improve the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea in primary care centres.
    • Progress of the TIQUE European project for the treatment of heart failure patients with coexisting chronic diseases.

Times that the Non-Face-to-Face Service Team (Núria Abdón/Maria Cifré) will be at the stand:

  • 28/02 from 2pm to 7pm
  • 2/03 from 8.30am to 2.00pm

How to find us at the Mobile World Congress 2023

The foundation’s stand is number 20 in the Catalunya Pavilion. It will be in the central area between halls 4, 5, 6 and 7.
