In the last decade, the use of drones has experienced rapid growth and extensive evolution in various industrial sectors. Its use has taken to new horizons and modified existing models. Its adoption has revolutionized how we face challenges and opportunities in various sectors, and one of the fields where its impact has become more tangible and transformative is in the field of health. These ingenious devices have demonstrated an unprecedented potential to transform the provision of medical services, overcoming logistical obstacles and providing innovative solutions for health care.
Next June 6, the TIC Salut Social Foundation, the Telecommunications and Information Technologies Centre, and the Hospital d’Olot i Comarcal de la Garrotxa Foundation will present the report ‘Integration of drones in the health environment’. The document offers an in-depth look at the current integration of drones into new care processes, paving the way for more efficient, accessible and inclusive medical care. The report analyzes success stories, pilot projects and case studies that have demonstrated their effectiveness and potential for use. It also identifies the areas in which it is still necessary to research and perfect the technology with the aim of promoting a more widespread and sustainable adoption in the healthcare system.
Apart from the report, at the same event two pilot tests will be presented that will be held soon in Garrotxa and the North Metropolitan Area.
The event will be held in the hall of the Hospital d’Olot. Prior registration is required at this link.
