The Community of Best Practices of La Unió launches the “Best Practices Cafés” series, a space to learn about real experiences that are already transforming care for people.

In this first session, we will focus on oncology care from a more humanistic and participatory perspective, through initiatives that place the person at the center of the care process.

Under the title “Stories that humanize oncology and empower people”, we will explore two outstanding experiences:

  • The CORADIANT Project, Humanization of radiotherapy care for oncology patients in the province of Tarragona, Salut Sant Joan Reus – Baix Camp. Raquel Gutierrez and Meritxell Arenas.
  • Comprehensive support for oncology patients, an initiative that goes beyond care: listening, accompanying, informing, and making life easier for people. Fundació Privada Hospital Asil de Granollers. M. Carme Ferrer.

The professionals responsible will share first-hand how they have developed these projects, as well as the lessons learned and their impact on patients and professionals.

The session will include a final space for questions and open discussion with attendees.
