App developed by the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC) to offer practical recommendations to doctors who assist patients with antithrombotic treatment before a surgery or interventional procedure. The app bases its algorithm on the consensus document “Perioperative management and periprocedure of antithrombotic treatment” (Rev Esp Cardiol. 2018;71:553-64), coordinated by the Cardiovascular Thrombosis Working Group of the SEC and certified by a large number of scientific societies that participate in the patient care process, with the aim of homogenizing daily clinical practice.
