The videos are especially conceived to involve and empower people in maintaining healthy habits and lifestyles. “The Bonsus come from the planet Gulnac, where three generations live together: parents, children of different ages and grandparents, who live in situations that might seem very familiar to young and old”, Marc Fortes, nurse and coordinator of Virtual Nurse explains. “And it allows us to give health advice in a very pleasant and fast way, ideal for watching on an underground or bus trip”.
The collaboration between TMB and Virtual Nurse in promoting healthy habits started two years ago with the creation of health advice for the more than 7,000 workers of the public transport network, advice drawn up with the content of the Virtual Nurse, which is drawn up and updated by around seventy expert nurses.

What is the Virtual Nurse?
The Virtual Nurse (Iv) is a resource that enhances the capacity of people, communities and populations to maintain their health and well-being. As a portal for promoting and educating in health, its aim is to become a virtual space of knowledge and interrelating with users, and at the same time a work tool for nurses available to all professionals of the health, education and social sector. The Virtual Nurse, a project of the School of Nursing of Barcelona, is conceived to enable people to take part in the decisions that affect their health through nursing knowledge. The portal receives around 35,000 single users a month and is considered one of the 5 most influential nursing websites.
